Yeah, I know, our meeting was on 4th of April, almost two months ago…
We have some problems and lack of free time coding and uploading the video to youtube, also PJ recorded it all in HD, and “thanks” to Italian internet connection we had to upload those huge amount of data at slow speed. But we finally managed to do it at the end, so you can see here the complete keynote of Steve.

Our last meeting on 4th April, in the beautiful Sirmione, has been a great success. 100 attendees, cool speeches, Steve Herrod as a guest star with a great talk, many chats with other guys about technology and virtualization.
This time we organized in a timely fashion, and we filmed all the speechs and took many photos. Videos will be ready soon, for now take a look at our photoset on Flickr, made by me and Pietro Piutti, who deserves a special mention for flying all across Italy to partecipate at the meeting!

Yes, you read it right. He’s not an homonym, our special guest for the next Italian VMUG will be VMware CTO Steve Herrod. Steve will give us a speech and will reply to attendess answers.
To welcome such a great guest, we needed a special location, so the meeting will take place in the beautiful town of Sirmione, on the shores of Lago di Garda. We will host the event at the Grand Hotel Terme di Sirmione. If you never been there, this is the landscape you will see:
