SkunkWorks Labs: my new vLab

Luca Dell'Oca, March 21, 2013March 19, 2013

SR-71 BlackBird

Skunk Works is an official alias for Lockheed Martin’s Advanced Development Programs (ADP), formerly called Lockheed Advanced Development Projects. Skunk Works is responsible for a number of famous aircraft designs, including the U-2, the SR-71 Blackbird (my preferred one), the F-117 Nighthawk, and the F-22 Raptor.
The designation “skunk works”, or “skunkworks”, is widely used in business, engineering, and technical fields to describe a group within an organization given a high degree of autonomy and unhampered by bureaucracy, tasked with working on advanced or secret projects.

What better name then for my new lab dedicated to virtualization?
This lab is installed and operated only by me. From this lab most of my articles take form, thanks to trial and error, reinstalls, fun with the various technologies that have the ability to work with.

To learn more, read the page dedicated to my lab here.

See you soon,
Luca.

SkunkWorks Labs: il mio nuovo vLab

Luca Dell'Oca, March 21, 2013March 19, 2013

A presto,
Luca.
