Ovvero, la gestione dei consumi energetici di un infrastruttura vmware.

La dimostrazione di vmware mostra un sistema DRS a 4 nodi su un arco temporale di 8 ore, e come il sitema DPM (che in soldoni spegne i nodi esx concentrando le virtual machine sul minor numero di nodi necessari) sia stato in grado di far risparmiare ben il 55% del consumo elettrico su un’intera giornata di lavoro.
NB: certo i tecnici vmware potevano scegliere una musica meno tamarra… 🙂
