Avviso! Problemi con vSphere 5.5 e il backup di dischi virtuali di 2TB e oltre

VMware ha segnalato un bug in VDDK 5.5, per il quale su vSphere 5.5 il backup di dischi grandi 2 TB o oltre tramite la modalità HotAdd fallisce in modo silenzioso, mentre viene indicato come completato con successo.

In vSphere 5.5 vStorage API for Data Protection (VDDK 5.5) will be available only in the 64 bit version. If you are using still 32bit machines to run your Data Protection solution, you better upgrade them to 64 bit.
