vCenter Heartbeat

VMware ha da poco annunciato un nuovo add-on per vCenter: “VMware vCenter Server Heartbeat”.

Non si sa ancora molto di questo nuovo programma se non l’annuncio di una presentazione via web per i soli partner, ma a leggereil breve annuncio dovrebbe essere qualcosa per garantire finalmente un pò di ridondanza in più all’unico componente che ancora non l’aveva, il vCenter appunto (anche se mettendolo su una VM con Vmotion in effetti non era tanto a rischio).

Staremo a vedere nei prossimi giorni se compariranno ulteriori dettagli.
