Virtual Box 3.2 contro VMWare Workstation 7.1

Quale sistema di virtualizzazione usate sui vostri desktop?

Io personalmente, avendo Mac, ho sempre utilizzato Fusion di VMware, anche se è disponibile virtual box anche per Mac OS X. Su un altro computer windows 64 bit invece ho prediletto tempo fa Workstation 7 (come mostravo anche negli articoli VI-in-a-box). Non tanto per una questione di performance, quanto più che altro per la gestione dei team e delle virtual networks.

E’ stato recentemente pubblicato da ZDnet questo interessante articolo:

La comparativa è molto esauriente, e il verdetto finale è che , sebbene per esigenze base i due prodotti si equivalgano, se vi serve grafica 2D e 3D molto performante (ad esempio per una virtual machine Windows con AutoCAD su host linux) andate su VMWare Workstation.
