vMotion a lunga distanza usando EMC VPLEX Metro

Ho trovato questo interessantissimo articolo sulla kb vmware, relativa all’uso geografico sincrono del sistema Vplex.

Si tratta di un sistema di storage sincrono (fino a 100 km con 5 ms di latenza massima… bruscolini) che permette di avere due storage geografici replicati costantemente e visti da vmware come se fossero un unico sistema, e sul quale è possibile quindi effettuare tutte le operazioni network intensive come vmotion e drs.
