Dedicato a chi ancora dubita delle performance ottenibili con un sistema VMWare, eccovi direttamente dal sito ufficiale un breve documento che illustra l’esperimento condotto dai tecnici VMWare. Viene dimostrato come un sistema decisamente complesso, composto da 8 server virtuali da 2000 mailbox ciascuno, su un server di medio/alta potenza come l’ibm X3850 del test sia riuscito a saturare pressapoco il 50% del carico processore.

Certo, il server utilizzato è decisamente potente, ma stiamo parlando di 16.000 caselle postali!!! Il documento non è nuovissimo, ma vale sicuramente la pena dargli una lettura.
