Ho trovato questo tip molto interessante: è possibile verificare l’abilitazione delle nuove estensioni di virtualizzazione Intel o AMD senza dover riavviare inutilmente il sistema ESX.
Da riga di comando digitare:
# esxcfg-info|grep HV
L’output può essere uno tra questi (copia/incolla diretto dalla kb vmware):
0 – VT/AMD-V indicates that support is not available for this hardware.
1 – VT/AMD-V indicates that VT and AMD-V might be available but they are not supported for this hardware.
2 – VT/AMD-V indicates that VT and AMD-V are available but are currently not enabled.
3 – VT/AMD-V indicates that VT and AMD-V are enabled in the BIOS and can be used.
